I’m Milagro Fuentes, and Miami Discount General began long before it had shelves, forklifts, or warehouse doors. It started with a teenager trying to find a new direction in life.
At fifteen, living on my own, I relied on couponing videos, YouTube tutorials, and TikTok hacks just to survive the week. But I wanted more—I wanted a chance to build something real. When I discovered the liquidation wholesale industry, something inside me clicked. I felt a spark, and I knew I had to try.
With just $500, I walked into a local liquidation warehouse and bought the only thing I could afford—a single pallet of returned toys. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a beginning. I listed everything on eBay, and unbelievably, it all sold within days. That first win changed everything.
From there, I rented a 10×10 storage unit, then ten of them, filling them with inventory and energy I didn’t know I had. Seeing my dedication, my mom helped me secure my first 1,200 sq. ft. warehouse. Growth came fast—faster than I expected. Before long, we expanded into multiple locations.
Today, Miami Discount General proudly operates over 200,000 square feet of warehouse space.
My journey has been built on sacrifice, consistency, and a year of literally living inside the warehouse to keep the vision alive. Every challenge, every long night, every risk—it was worth it.
